KOTA SATU GROUP (SATU) CEO JOHAN P. SANTOSO BELIEVES VAT EXEMPTION POLICY ON LANDED HOUSES WILL BOOST SALES BY 20%

The government provides incentives in the property sector in the form of Value Added Tax (VAT) exemptions on landed houses and flats. This incentive is given because the property sector is considered to have a positive contribution to economic growth in Indonesia. For this reason, the government has allocated a National Economic Recovery (PEN) budget of IDR 5 trillion to provide Value Added Tax (VAT) incentives for the purchase of a home or property. With this allocation, it means that the government bears all VAT costs property purchases for people in Indonesia.
